Shannon has been conducting economic and education research professionally for over 15 years. She has over eight years of experience working with dashboard software (Power BI, Tableau) to meet the needs of various stakeholders.

Shannon earned her Ph.D. in Workforce Education and Development in 2019 from Penn State, her Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Baltimore, and her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science (minor: Spanish) from Salisbury University.
